Spring is here in Connecticut and I can feel the love and happiness with every sunny day. This Saturday, Jill and Pedro had the most intimate and romantic elopement in the presence of their closest family. This was the first wedding I have photographed since the world has started to open up more with the vaccine starting to take hold. After a long hibernation, we all came out to find the most beautiful beach where Pedro and Jill celebrated their love with a ceremony on the water, a first dance in front of a carousel, we even stopped our cars while driving to the restaurant to take a photo in front of the beautiful gates at Yale (these gates hold special meaning to Jill and Pedro.) Finally, the two enjoyed an amazing dinner at OLEA in New Haven with their family.
You can see in every photo how warm, genuine and in love Pedro and Jill are. Before Pedro saw Jill he was feeling all the nerves. But once they were together, his shoulders relaxed and they were home. We can all wish for that kind of a love and they found it. Congratulations Jill and Pedro. I know you will live every step of your journey with love, compassion and meaning just like your beautiful wedding day that started this next chapter.
