Hello Beautiful! Congratulations on your engagement. Finding a photographer is probably the most personal decision you will make during this wedding planning process. So sit back and take some time to view the work below and if you like what you see reach out to me!
What I want to see in my photographs is not only beautiful light and composition but a personal connection. That is why when we start this journey of photographer/client, my goal is that at the end of the wedding day we are friends. Not only is friendship with my couples a gift to me, but it positively impacts my couple’s wedding day experience.
These weddings are at some of my favorite wedding locations in Connecticut. Some of my favorite places to photograph are mansion weddings like The Wadsworth Mansion and Eoila Mansion, weddings in Litchfield Connecticut at venues like Southfarms and Winvian Farm, Mystic Connecticut weddings hold a special place in my heart (there's nothing like a Connecticut coastline wedding) and Hartford City Hall weddings. You will find me occasionally traveling to photograph weddings in Newport and New York so if that is your wedding dream just email me to photos from those locations!
Chances are, if you're like me you've searched for the best wedding photographer in Connecticut, to come up with a ton of results that mean nothing. I do have some "do's and don'ts" tips before starting the search for your photographer.
Do look at the work first before getting to know the photographer. At the end of the day you must love the images I create for you. Notice how the people are interacting with the photographer. My goal is that you feel 100% yourself, your beautiful, fun loving, heart on your sleeve, self when you are with me (whether there's a camera in front of my face or not!) Do choose a photographer who has been photographing weddings for more than a few years. You want a trusted professional by your side with lots of connections and experience. Do choose someone your family will feel comfortable with. Your photographer is by your side for most of the day, but also your family's side. Don't choose a photographer before both looking at a full gallery from a real wedding day (yes many of the images you may see online are not real wedding days and rather styled) and meeting the photographer.
After taking a look at these galleries, the next step is to fill out my inquiry form and get to know one another through a phone call, or at my adorable Simsbury Connecticut studio. I would love to meet you!
