As a Connecticut wedding photographer, I live for days like this. Lilly and Chris’s Guilford Yacht Club wedding was pure fall perfection. The golden light, ocean breeze, and warmth of family made October 18th unforgettable.

Guests flew in from England to celebrate with them. The wedding party was incredible, supportive, emotional, and completely devoted to their couple. There were tears during the vows, laughter through the ceremony, and so much love in every direction.

Their dogs, Luna and Blue, were honored in thoughtful details like custom cocktail napkins and framed photos on the mantel. Every touch reflected their story. During the cake cutting, they even offered me a bite—proof of their generous, welcoming nature.

The ceremony took place under an arch built by Lilly’s dad and covered in an ombré of hydrangeas. The sound of the ocean in the background made it all feel timeless. As the sun set, the dance floor came alive. Lilly’s dress swirled beautifully during their first dance, framed by the glow of the band’s lights.

It was a perfect Connecticut coastal wedding, heartfelt, elegant, and full of joy. Capturing this day was an absolute honor.
